The Breakfast Club is open to all Islay High School pupils and staff from 0830 to 0900 each Tuesday and Thursday during term time. There is no charge for this club.
The club aims to provide nutritional options for breakfast to help pupils prepare for the day ahead.
The club provides the opportunity for attendees to have appropriate food choices that includes fresh fruit, fruit juices, raisins, dried fruit, yoghurts, cereal and cereal bars. The breakfast club also provides an informal social education for all (through partnership presentations, displays and discussion groups) and aims to aid attention, motivation and behavioural levels throughout the school.
