There has never been a better or more important time to study Geography. Whether you plan to work in Agriculture, Urban Planning or Geoengineering the growth in opportunities available over the next 20 years will put any Geography qualification to good use. At degree level Geography graduates are the least likely to be unemployed. Geography acts as both a science and a social subject, giving you great cross curricular skills that would be welcome by any employer or further education establishment.
Your school will give your parents an Options or Choices information booklet, which has detailed information on the curriculum and the individual subjects or courses you can study. It will also invite them along to a Parents’ Information Evening.
